- Initial Assessment: All submissions are initially reviewed by an editor to ensure they align with the journal's objectives and scope.
- Peer Review: Submissions that meet the journal’s criteria are forwarded for peer review to assess their appropriateness for publication.
- Desk Rejection: Submissions may be rejected at the editorial stage if they do not meet the journal's quality standards.
Responsibilities Before Submission
- Permissions: Authors are required to secure permission for any third-party materials included in the submission, such as photos, documents, or datasets.
- Author Consent: All listed authors must agree to be acknowledged as contributors.
- Ethics Approval: Research involving human or animal subjects must have approval from an appropriate ethics committee and must comply with the legal and ethical guidelines of the study’s country.
Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting, please ensure the following:
- Alignment with Guidelines: The submission conforms to the instructions provided in the Author Guidelines.
- Originality: The manuscript has not been previously published nor is it currently under review by another journal.
- Reference Accuracy: All references have been carefully reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
- Figures and Tables: Figures and tables are properly numbered, titled, and labeled.
- Permissions Secured: All necessary permissions for any third-party content, such as photos or datasets, have been obtained.
Structuring Your Submission
- Title and Abstract: Create a clear, concise title and a standalone abstract to enhance the clarity and accessibility of your research.
- Study Design and Argument: Ensure your research argument and study design are logically structured and well-articulated for easy evaluation.
